When you look up an IP address, the address is sent to the IPDO server. The server uses local IP data files and configured geolocation or network-information services to prepare a result. To reuse and improve the intelligence dataset, lookup results may be stored or updated in the server database keyed by IP address. A record can include fields such as country, region, ASN, network organization, and security signals.
The browser environment panel reads details such as browser identifier, operating system, language, local time zone, and WebRTC capabilities in your browser and displays them on the page. That panel does not attach those fields to the IP lookup request. Connectivity tests run from your browser directly to the selected websites; those sites receive your network requests under their own policies.
To return IP information, IPDO may send the queried IP to third-party data services configured by the operator, such as geolocation or network-information APIs. Cloudflare Radar may provide ASN-level traffic classification. Those services process requests under their own privacy policies.
Hosting, database, email, analytics, or advertising features may be supplied by services configured by the operator. The server and those providers may generate access or security logs under their operating practices. IPDO does not promise that every infrastructure provider keeps no network logs; the operator should verify the services enabled and their retention periods before launch.
Public IP lookup does not require an account. Cookies or local storage required to run the site may be used for language preferences, authentication, or basic functionality depending on the deployment configuration. Do not enter passwords, access tokens, or other sensitive data into the lookup field.
IP intelligence records are used for caching and later lookups; the site does not provide a per-visit lookup history interface. Database retention depends on the operator's storage, refresh, and backup policies. Underlying infrastructure logs may have separate retention periods. To ask about a record or request deletion, use the contact channel published by the site operator. No public contact email is currently configured.
This policy will be updated if data handling changes. The update date shown at the top identifies the current version.
